Middle School Band Night at Lincoln

Weeks Middle School Band was invited to play at Lincoln High School during a special halftime show.  After the LHS band performs their show, the middle school bands march onto the field and play two songs with the  Lincoln High School band.  The 7^th and 8^th grade band members marched out onto the field and played at the Lincoln High School Middle School Band Night alongside the McCombs and Brody bands.  This year’s Middle School Band Night was Friday, September 27, and all the bands played “Louie, Louie” and “Smoke On the Water,” plus the LHS Fight Song.  The event gives the middle school bands a chance to march in a halftime show in front of large crowd.  It also encourages the young musicians to stay involved in band and play with the marching band in high school.
