Now is the time for 7th grade students to submit their applications and recommendations to the WEB committee starting April 7th. WEB (We Everyone Belongs) is an amazing program that helps transition 6th grade students and students new to our school through tours, lunches, and group activities. We are always on the look out for kind, caring and friendly students to be a part of this program. Get your application in!

With Spring comes the annual Iowa Assessment. Each year teachers and staff work hard to prepare students to shine on the Iowa Assessment. Right now all over Weeks, students are using their powers of concentration and putting forth their best effort to rock this test. Iowa Assessments…we got this!
Our 8th grade class toured college campuses around the state to get a glimpse of life beyond high school. Students spent the day visiting with professors, college students and college staff to help students start thinking about their futures plans.
Our incredible music department put on a show for our students and staff. This concert was unique as it allowed Band, Orchestra and Chorus students to perform together an original song by our own Band Director James Goodwin. See a video of the performance by clicking on the article.
Students from our Dream to Teach Program and National Junior Honor Society Volunteered their time for the Meals from the Heartland organization. Students packaged nutritious meals for that impact and help people here in Iowa and all around …
Weeks’ Healthy Choices committee works throughout the school year to encourage our students and staff to eat nutritious foods, exercise and drink plenty of water! Students on this committee created a motivational video for the NFL Play 60 competition. Watch the video and don’f forget to Like Us!
The Royal Guardians of Weeks Middle School played their final travel tournament of the season and saved their best for last. 17 players represented our school and brought home a bevy of awards! We are proud of our Weeks Chess Team! Go Royal Guardians!
Students won an exciting treat as the Extreme Team performed amazing dunks, trick shots, tremendous feats of athleticism and hilarious comedy. Students who participated in the Fall fundraiser got front row seats as the Extreme Team members dunked on our principal Mrs. Rieken.
