More than 150 middle school students were honored on-stage at North High School for outstanding achievement in a variety of categories. Each DMPS Middle School was represented at the 1st Annual Stellar Awards and each student took home a standing plaque and a book, highlighting the quality recognized that evening. Hundreds of middle school students, along with parents and teachers, gathered at East High’s Williams Stadium yesterday for the annual DMPS Middle School Track & Field Meet. Weeks Middle School celebrated excellent student behavior with an organized Field Day. Students who exhibited great behavior during term 5 were invited to play games and enjoy the beautiful weather at the end of the school day. The National Junior Honor Society at Weeks is sponsoring “Pennies for Patients,” a fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, May 1st -May 14th.
